I love hats and always buy a big wide ladys hat when in the US to keep the sun off and the older one I wear whilst gardening, if you have ever had sunstroke you will know why.
I love men in hats, stetson, trilby, porkpie only one I dont like is a deerstalker.once on holiday hubby bought a golfing cheesecutter hat and he looked like Benny Hill in it after that it was known as his "Fred Scuttle" hat, we have still got somewhere.............

I always hear a hat and I've got three I wear depending on what I'm doing, a South African leather safari hat for walking the dog, fishing etc a snap brim fedora for "going out" and a very nice Monte Cristo Panama that Trish bought for me last summer

Don't wear a Hat but in the Summer I would go for a Panama if sitting out in the Sun !
