In defence of the contestant, my dad was on 15 to one years ago and although he knew the answers he said his mind just went a total blank due to stage fright. The studios are a lot smaller than they seem, everyone is quite close together with the cameras practically in your face and it's all very intense. Then again, this particular contestant might just have been thick ;)

15-1 was good and a lot tougher than weakest link I think. Karen a fair point, I know I'm a bit judgmental but I could have answered that when I was about 7 and so could my classmates.

Some of the questions on 'Are you smarter than a ten year old?' are tougher than some of those on 'The weakest link.'
