If they're newer games though, then just buy a new disc drive for your PC. They're about a tenner brand new. Hardly expensive. If you can afford to buy games, you can afford to save a fiver a week for a fortnight.

It doesn't take long for 'enthusasts' ti find a way to remove the need for a disk too. But one runs the risk of going to potentially dodgy websites to get them.
I can understand wanting to get this to avoid DRM hassle you are annoyed at having to put up with, but If you can afford to buy a decent game, how come there's a problem getting a cheap external drive for the disk ?

You've been given several answers mate. Technically, playing a retail PC games without the disc violates the end user license agreement, so you shouldn't do it. As has been said, you really need a new drive, they're cheap.
If you have the box the game came in, see if it's compatible with Steam. If it is, you can download Steam, register the game and then download the game itself to your PC and play it via Steam, no disc required and fully legit. People here are not going to spell out to you how to act on the shady side of the law. You've already been given hints, so if that's what you want to do, then use Google to find out more. All the info is there.
Asking for "better" answers in this instance is just lazy.
