1970s Supernatural Drama
4 Answers
I am trying to find out the name of a drama I remember watching on TV sometime during the 1970s. I think it was a one-off play. All I can recall is the closing scenes which showed a group of ghostly children in a street, holding hands in a circle and singing (I think) "Here we go Round the Mulberry Bush". I remember it really freaked me out at the time. If this rings a bell with anyone I would be really grateful for suggestions as to what it might have been that I was watching!

The story as I remember it concerned a young woman who had fallen pregnant and was looked after by a young homosexual she had met in a shoe shop, daring for its time. A recurrent motif throughout the film was a group of ghostly children sing, " The big ship sails on the Ally Ally O".
