Over 50 years ago, at children's parties, one of the games we would play was Pass the Parcel, with Forfeits! One of the Forfeits I remember was "Quaker's Courtship", unfortunately, I can't remember the words!!

All I can recollect, was, a boy and a girl, sat back to back, and a couple of things said was "..... (name) lovest thou me?", and the reply, ".....(name) thou knowest I do", there was a lot more to it in similar vein.

Please can anyone help me remember??

Thank You!

NOT LOOKING GOOD, I can remember musical chairs, nelsons eye with the 1/2 orange, pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, sping the plate, getting a headache now lol
No recollection of that at all, but it reinforces something I posted earlier on another thread to the effect that Quakers still use, or used to use then, the archaic forms thou and thee.
