Any Dead Heads?

In the car this morning I had a play of some of my Grateful Dead CDs. I'd forgotten how good they are.

I used to love "The Dead".

Good old hot summers, and flared jeans ("boot cut" they call it now!).

Are there any other old Dead Heads like me kicking around on here?

I remember the first time I heaed Don Henley's 'Boys Of Summer' with the line "...I saw a Dead Head sticker on a Caddilac..." and I wondered who many people would even know what a Dead Head is - much less the ironic social commentary encapsuated in those nine words - the end of a generation of believers superseeded by capitalist monsters.

I must be getting old ....
