Who remembers it? Wonderful. Was it Stewart Granger and who was the lass?
And is it out on DVD?

Thankyou,

Question Author
Wondered if it was Jean Simmons but somehow thought I was being crazy to think that. Don't know why. Really need to know the name in French but can't find it so pretty stumped finding the DVD.
Had a look on ebay,and also tried google,but couldn't see anything.Mind you,there is a film still,being sold,which is interesting,to have  a wee look at.Take a peek!!
Question Author
Not followed you there, lindapinda. Take a peek where or more to the point at what?

straight translation fagin: Des pas dans le brouillard; it's listed here (under 1955)

If you google Footsteps in the fog, there is a reference to it on ebay. When you look,it is a black and white still, from the film, that is being sold,on ebay u.s.a.It's an interesting lot. Hope that's clearer!! Or is it still mud??
Question Author
Stone me! Let me jump up (figuratively speaking, of course; but then why do I think you are taller than me?) and give you a big, big hug. Thanks for that - I have been looking for ages, shows how useless I am doesn't it especially when, as you say, it's a litteral translation. NOW, I have to find it!!!
Question Author
No, lindapinda, the mud has washed away leaving things beautifully clear; thanks, sweetheart.
