She is being so unfair (or am I?). Never have liked her, can't see how this storyline will pan out. Hope David doesn't top himself or walk out on Ruth and family. Any fans with thoughts?

She was equally unfair over the question of inheritance a few years ago. That's the way she is. There was a big bust-up with David which went on for months, and I suspect this one will run even longer.

With any luck her dicky ticker will do for her.

My guess is that this David/Elizabeth problem will be resolved via Elizabeth's children. They will see the damage that the ill-feeling is causing both sides, but, whereas the two combatants cannot (at the moment) approach each other, Lily and Freddy can speak to and for each of them.

Also, Elizabeth has high regard for Pip.

A good point also, from you, 4candles. Pip would probably be a better candidate for a peacemaker than Lily and Freddy, because she is closer to David, and she can see how worried he is. Elizabeth seems to keeping her feelings pretty much to herself, so her children might not immediately notice her disquiet.
