I have just become a grandmother for the first time to a beautiful baby girl and I'm chuffed to bits!!

Now you will become a soppy, silly lady who is eternally broke like the rest of us and you won't mind in the least, because you will be able to cuddle that gorgeous little bundle! I love shared good news and new births are the best. Especially first ones. Lovely, fruitsalad, and a girl. (Sighs wistfully) I would have loved a granddaughter. My three are all boys and I love them to bits but a granddaughter would have been nice. You can buy them such a lot of different things, clothes, dolls - all sorts.
