To your last Q TWR, yes I could but I wouldn't post them here. It would be too much like throwing it to the wolves (with one or two of the posters).
I have written poems to and about my late husband, they are too personal to reproduce here.
*sigh*

I think you had better do the maths again , Stokie. TW is only interested in ABers lyrics.
That was brilliant, Answerprancer; the late, unforgettable Les! I remember his joke, just about as politically incorrect as they come:
"I`m not saying the wife`s lazy but she`s the only woman I know who serves square potatoes".

Back to the subject; don`t care where as long as I had enough money to do it in style.
oh right mick i thought i was being helpful lol
I have no doubt that I could put my feelings into a poem for a loved one. if thats what you mean twr.

your initial post was not clear enough for me, sorry .
oh, so my dedication was wasted?
TWR, yes, I have lost my father, who was once a very successful singer and actor and my son, who was an extremely talented musician. We use to write songs together. So in answer to your question, yes one can put ones true feelings into the lyrics of a song. The songs I have written are based on deeply emotional feelings I had at various times, mostly love songs or sad songs or a mixture of both. But, not every song writer can or does use their own emotions when writing. I have friends who are established song writers who not only write for themselves, but also for other musicians. They are sometimes given a brief on what the song should be about. I couldn't write like this, but then I am not a professional, just a silly soppy lady who finds writing and playing her guitar a good release when under stress. Hope that answers your question.
