horrendous practice as I just can't sing well - I was in China in the 90s when it was all the rage - my staff would join in to save me losing face. No issue with standing on stage and telling stories, being a compere to a do for 1500, or giving a presentation to an audience of 1000+, but karaoke - please NOOOOooooooo!

Did a stand up comedy night last year. Did 5 minutes and got a few laughs. not bad as they were jokes I had written.

No - never. I'm tone deaf and not too proud to admit it. I did have quite a voice when I was younger.

Sang 'What's New, Pussycat?' once when dressed as a tiger! Husband did 'Hard Day's Night' at New Year, the host at the hotel looked horrified!
