great start to BH weekend! I ended up in hospital this morning after a painful night & blood in my urine - I was in tears coz I was so scared. I've got kidney stones - I though it may be a urine infection.
Has anyone got some advice on what to do? I'm on painkillers & antibiotics & drinking plenty of fluids
Have a good break Abers

Gallstone pain is even worse as that is a wider area and more of an acute pain than the localised kidney stone, many women say worse than birthing! Having had both, I really feel for you and its when you can't sit or lie down with either......
Not much more I can give you re advice other than what you are doing already. How far down the back (from the kidneys) is the pain as that is in an indication of progress. Keep plenty of water going.
They didnt ultra-sonic zap it then?

Thanks DTcrosswordfan, I did describe it (the pain) to having contractions. No they're waiting for nature to take it's course but to go back in if need be. the pain is as you describe but has moved lower down - keep feeling as if I need the loo but then not much comes out - still with blood. I seem to cope better standing then sitting down.
