bone through her nose ?
has anyone ever heard a song containing the lyrics ' she has`nt got a bone through her nose ' or another song , possibly entitled ' Valerie ' , with the lyrics ' playing to the gallery ' within it. I think they may be conected to Richard Thompson or fairport convention but thats a stab in the dark perhaps.

Thanks for the help mikewith, its much appreciated but i am a Steve Windwood fan and its not that song . I used to listen to a local band in nottingham called ABK and they did the numbers i am on about but as yet i still do not know who did the originals. thanks also Gazzawazza, it may not be the one but i will see.
cucumbers, you are quite right. The line "she hasn't got a bone through her nose" is from the song "Bone Through Her Nose" and "playing to the gallery" is from "Valerie". These are tracks one and two respectively on the 1986 Richard Thompson album "Daring Adventures" also available on CD. Great songs, great album, great man!!!
