Prank call

Ok i think one of my friends is prank calling me... They have done it before and they know I don't recognize their voices at all so they know they can get away with it! Anyway it's an unknown number, the line was cutting off and we got cut off. She said it's from this place where i just got a job. She left a voice mail to say I have to phone her back or she would call me back in 5 mins. I can't get her number from my phone which makes me think it's a prank call anywya so she called me back and starts saying she wants to ask me questions like just like my interview.. bit weird? Also, I'm sure i didn't give them my mobile number. Every time they have contacted me it's by house phone or email. Is this them prank claling me? I texted my friend and she said shes in school revising... aaah do I og along wiht it or what?!

Contact the place you have got your job and ask if they have been trying to contact you. Explain that your 'phone is playing up and you were getting what seemed to be a very garbled message, etc.

Don't get pulled into your immature mates games...

Ok now the woman has left a message.. leaving a number which doesn't even have the right number of numbers if that makes sense.. then i got an automatic email to say i've been confirmed for the job and that i just need to wait for letters in the post. they say ' in the meantime if you have any problems please do not hestitate to contact us on ____' and the number in the email isn't the number the woman left! Also, the woman who called said her name and i have no idea who she is, i did not meet her, she didn't interview me or anything, she wasn't the one who called me when i was confirmed the job and i don't know who she is!!

Ring up for clarification.....they won't mind.

But only ring the contact number you *know* is correct, and only speak to someone you know to be involved with your hiring.

Blame a dodgy mobile 'phone connection, etc.
