Watering hanging baskets

I have installed a timed system to water my hanging baskets when I am on holiday next week for 11 days, which part of the day would it be best to set it to come on?

Early evening. Have you got gel crystals in the earth as well?

Its going to be hot....hanging baskets might need watering twice a day if they are in a very sunny spot... I'd give them a morning watering as well if the timer lets you go twice a day

K - around before dawn and then again after dark - do you have option to put in feed with your system?
