Have any of you embarked on a new partnership or marriage after aged 60 years- surely it would be hard to compromise at that time of your life.

Hi Conn, No, I was in my early 40s, but age doesn't matter I don't think
hi conn. have you someone in mind ? i suppose if you really love someone you would compromise.
I also think that people are far more settled and easy going, less demanding, less likely to stray etc etc etc.

We're both over 60 and I've told my husband I will never divorce him as I don't want him to be that happy!! (only joking - he's a star really)

Adam and Eve had an ideal marriage. He didn't have to hear about all the men she could have married, and she didn't have to hear about the way his mother cooked.

Not sure Ratter, were there Registry Offices in those days ? ;-)))
No sorry Connemmara we were "childhood sweethearts". I was still at school aged 14 and he was 16.
