mashed banana, lemon curd, dairylea cheese.
He/she liked the toast then?! x

banana mashed with a few table spoons of tahini paste (sesame seeds) very rich in iron and other minerals and protein too.  Also, it goes all caramelly and is just luuurrrvely.

In fact, too good to give to babes, have some yourself!

boil chicken breast in a little water till tender then mash or process can mix with a little soft cream cheese for sticky factor. Could also sieve or process cooked veggies and mix with cream or dairylea cheese. Maybe the inside of a ripe camembert or brie or would that be too salty?

Mash cold baked beans and mix with a little grated cheese or dairylea - my niece used to love this when she was a baby.

Nutella - children in France thrive on it, without all the hoohah about allergies we have in the UK.

tuna mixed with a little cream cheese is fab.  Banana and advocado. Boursin (or other soft flavoured cheese). Nutella and banana. Strawberry jam with a thin slice of chedder on top.
loopey - When you say 'jam, vegemite and mackeral liquidised with butter' I really, really hope you don't mean on the same slice of toast!
