Not sure if I'm being completely thick or not (very likely!) but I don't quite understand how this is being judged. I've watched it this evening and I thought at least one chef was missing, namely the other Tom from the south east (did I just miss hiim), and didn't quite understand how they're going to decide which of the top three starters are going through?
When was the regional finals? The last one I saw was the Friday night one in whihc both Tom's got through? Was there another one on that I have missed?
yes, the ginger one got knocked out, not sure what day. They both cooked their menus for the three (god awful) judges, and they prefered fat tom's over ginger tom's
Damnit! No wonder it's not made any sense to me today, I bet I've missed an episode from each region then when one of the two remaning chefs got knocked out! What a dipstick... Oh well, I guess it'd be a nonsense to watch them now, I'll know who got through.
Thank you got the answers :c)
(And yes, with the possible exceptiion of Pru, the judges are terrible).
agree that the judges are generally awful, but so glad that Tom Aitkin was out, he is such an arrogant bully!......Tom Carrick is such a kind and lovely person...........deserves to be there!..........
I watched one on Saturday after the Saturday Kitchen programme, there were two Toms on that . They were doing something for the Peoples Banquet, I thought it must be a repeat with being on Sat. I havent been watching it but dont viewers vote via the web to pick which starter etc goes through.
I liked both Tom's, I thought London and the south east represented themselves very well, the cooking was excellent all week.
Definitely miserable! I'd be pretty happy if I had to try all that lovely food... I'd be a useless judge though as I'd want everything to go through! :c)
The final 2 from each region go head to head with the 3 judges (Pru, Oliver etc) on Fridays at 6.30pm China, that's when the other Tom got knocked out last Friday
I think the judge that annoys me the most is the younger bloke, he's so damn pretentious and irritating.
It's all a bit of a placebo for masterchef for me really. I adore masterchef and get very (read 'way too') involved in it and miss it when it's not on telly.
I just posted it in law <eye roll>.. It must have gone to a question I was looking at before when I posted my second answer.
The prawn dish? Yeah, that did look lush but I think I preferred the girls idea. Althoug I'm not averse to the curried one either... actually, just put them all on there, it's supposed to be a banquet after all!
