Hi everyone I rent a house and been here for 5yrs but my only problem with place is it's single glazed windows.
Winter is a long way off but what can I do to stop the draft and heat loss through these windows . Is there something that can be sprayed on them or stuck too.
I know I could ask the landlord to upgrade them but just incase he can't need other solution.

Your best and cheapest bet in some sort of 'Secondary-glazing' which you can buy off the shelf (more or less) and fit yourself.
There are various systems but they are all on a theme.....
If there is a draft I assume the windows may not close properly or there is a slight gap between the window frame and the opening window. In my student days living in drafty flats we used to apply Vaseline around the frame of the opening window. That stopped the draft. Sorry cant help with the heat loss other than suggesting some good fitting blinds.
I've seen some stick on plastic film that reduces the heat transmission. You could also use the stick on foam strip to draught proof
Secondary glazing. Or there are sticky felt things you can fit around the edges of openers.
