dilemma of the day

if someone had put in hours of hard work on a project, and you knew they'd made a mistake that they'd robably never notice, and would take hours to put right, would you tell them?
OH has FINALLY finished our hall & kitchen, half the wood work had been painted and he's just fininshed painting the rest...I'd been thinking for a couple of days that the colour didn't look right, got the paint tins out and now I know he's used 2 different, but similar colours!
He's rubbish with colours, can't tell them apart - should I tell him or live with it?

It's uo to you but it would drive me mad everytime I saw it so I would put it right. But then i do all the decorating and luckily have pretty good colour perception. i should have a quiet word with him when he's in a good mood or secretly get the paint and brushes out when he's gone out and do it yourself.
We've just rented a place and sorry to say khbailey but that sort of thing we noticed and that was just for renting so I guess if you're buying then you're going to be even more aware of things like that. I don't know how much difference it would make if soomeone really liked the house but I do think it would be picked up on... Sorry :-/

CD, I think renting (where you have to live iwth it) is different from buying, where you have the option of changing it and probably will. Even jno jnr, who's terrificially picky about design, didn't care about the colour of the flat he and his gf have just bought: if he doesn't like it he'll change it.
