I haven't watched it myself but I'm sure it's pretty good.
This 10 Part series should be available to buy on DVD as well.

this is a very good series because it is personalised, the lead actor looking very much like the real life person.

I found it very moving. it is also very graphic in its portrayal of a bloody war, although I am sure not as visceral as the real thing.

This is a 'must watch' as well as a 'should watch'

I was really looking forward to this as Band of Brothers is my favourite ever series but I didnt like this as I found the pacing was off. Some scenes had been made to imitate Vietnam and some battles were over in a matter of minutes meaning there was no real sense of the true struggles.

I enjoyed it but it wasnt a patch on Band of Brothers, i think they broke the mould when they made that one!

I agree with Matt and Sooper. I was disappointed in The Pacific as I expected it to be as good as Band of Brothers, but its not.

Carlton, i would urge you, if you can to watch it, if you think that The Pacific is good then i think you will love Band of Brothers.
Try and watch it on Blu Ray as well, the picture quality is amazing.
