don't you just get fed up with all this publicity though ? x factor judge saga, bgt fixes.... its all a bit tiring and futile.

so what is the boy wins, so what if he signs to syco, so what if people buy his albums...

do people really care that much about all this ?
No. But, on the other hand, anyone who wants to go into "show biz" needs to have a SERIOUSLY thick skin.

If his parents want to push him in front of the eyes of the world, and "make his first £1m by christmas" then they ought to know what they are letting him in for.
""make his first £1m by christmas""

I think you meant to say "make their first £1m by christmas"
Chuck ...

Although, perhaps it could also have read ...

"... make Simon Cowell's next £10m by Christmas."

I think Simon loves it all really, it just makes more viewing and buzz and therefore makes him more money! It's just like the whole 'Rage against the Machine' campaign. He was laughing all the way to the bank with that one!

BUT having said that, I still watch it all.............. I do enjoy it! Just feel a bit for this little boy, but I agree that the parents should be realistic with him and the nature of the beast that is showbiz!
It just all sounded so completely right and I don't believe it was made up at all. Like many are saying, the whole show is designed to make money for the producers and the they can't make money out of a variety acy, only a recording artist. With downloads there is no money to be made from being able to ride a bike or do impressions. It has been transparently obvious it is a set up. I love the show, or did, but this year has killed it for me.

Very angry
Preston
and also, either the boy wins or he doesn't, simon could ignore it all and make the lad a winner, or try to prove it was all lies and make the boy lose, either way, the public have no say, sabe your phone bill and don't vote, this will hit the priduction's targets for making money out of mugs.
I agree dont vote save your money, note to the production team re: Lorna Bliss next time if your going to fix the show at least let the judges in on it.
Just publicity for a sad programme
I can't imagine what interest this drivel holds for plod. No crime has been committed as far as I can tell so why's he gone to the Bill?
If it is a fix it's fraud against all the people that pay to vote.

If it's not a fix then it's libel to say it is.
people pay to vote? my gast is flabbered chuck!
Why, oh why do people fall for this publicity-hungry drivel and spend money voting?
Was it also fair to bring back that dancer who was voted off by the 3 original judges, only to be brought back and given another 'bite of the cherry' when Simon Cowell returned to the show?
Someone should have called the cops years ago to investigate this lot
Surely crimes against taste and decency count
its all drivel, and the boy didn't win at any rate. I have watched it a couple of times, but to me its akin to bear baiting, or throwing the christians to the lions, and no one
gets anything out of it except that ego maniac simon cowell
