Thank you so much Cancross - also Winner for trying hard as usual. Don't you ever do quizes Winner so we could try to help you?!! Just No. 6 left now then I can move on to another quiz. Thanks again.
Hi KUSTARD, how thoughtful of you to want to help me!
I don't normally do quizzes myself, I would rather help with the last ones others may need help with. I am just far too busy.
Although I must admit, that my username is because the week I joined Answerbank, was the week I won a tenner in our local paper (crossword) and not because I think I am good as I am so not, and sometimes my answers are way out, that's all part of the fun.
OK Winner, fine. You are always a great help to me and I always like having a little chatter with you. I have thought of No.6 all day with no joy and have had to start another quiz which was quite easy but of course I'm one short!! It's rivers, bodies of water, waterfalls etc and the clue is "Headwear for watercourse!" (6,5). Thought I'd let you have a go (or anyone who reads this is welcome to try) before I post it. K x
Sorry Winner and Tara. Late in thanking you (also JMR7) because was travelling home from my hols yesterday and then doing a mound of washing etc.but thank you so much. Would never have got Life on Mars and I can't believe we missed the obvious Panama Canal Winner!! Speak to you soon K x
