Stomach pain when running

I have run regularly for many years - not long distance, only a few miles, and this year I have suffered from a stabbing pain in my lower stomach, kind of where you get period pain. It's definitely not stitch. I have analysed when I get it, because it's not every time I run - and it is always 2 weeks after my period started. Does anyone know why ? I find it strange it has only occured this year when there have been no changes to my running or lifestyle, but it can double me up with pain and passes about half an hour after I have run.

Sqad, thank you very much - I had figured it might be something to do with my cycle but couldn't find anything when I searched on the net. I was hoping you would know the answer. Thanks again
