hi chuck,
re my question the other day ^^
i opened up the back of the laptop ok, no problem,
and brushed the fan free of the little bit of fluff that was on it with a brush, like you suggested, i didnt have a can of air to use though,
it is still a bit whirry at times though, but its definitely alot better/quieter than before.
so, thanks again for all your help, i really appreciate it :o)
dodgy using a vac u can discharge static to the comp if you catch any parts buy a can of "air duster" from maplins give it a good blast out preferable outside
ok deggers, thanks :o)
yep im planning on getting a can of compressed air and giving it a blast.
the clean with the brush yesterday has helped it quite a bit,
(there wasnt much muck on the fan to be honest, less than i thought thered be)
make sure u get the one for cleaning out comps not an "air duster" there not powerful enough it the "air blaster" you need. blast the fins behind the fan and hold the fan still while you do it clean all the fans out not just the CPU one
