Blackberry bold

I have 2 message envelopes but no messages attached to them and I can't get them to go away. I've even taken the battery and sim out but they're still there. Any ideas how to get rid of them?

I have a Storm and had a similar issue to yourself and the only way i could resolve it was to check my firmware/version and fortunately mine was out of date so i ran the update and when that was complete, hey presto my problems were resolved.
If thats no good i would check out the Blackberry/Crackberry forums, there are some wise bods on there that are pretty helpful.
