income support information please.
Hi, i am working full time and getting £950.00 a month... i am paying £700 a month rent so as far as i am aware... i am living on less than someone on job seekers allowance. Therefore i would be better off not working, it would seem. The question i have if anyone knows is... under my circumstances, would i be able to get help with paying rent, or income support or something and also how much would i be entitled too if i could? Thanks in advance.

If that is the case then the poster needs to look into downsizing i guess. Either a studio, bedsit, or house share perhaps?
Sorry i know that didn't answer your question, but you either need to increase your income or decrease your outgoings and moving somewhere cheaper would seem the obvious place to start

Yes i do live in east london and have been looking for somewhere cheaper but... this is about the cheapest i can find. I have found studio flats for about £650 but they are so tiny and complete dumps. I don't want to rent a room somewhere... i'm 28 years old and like living on my own. Thanks for the links Mark, i will check them out.
