Hiya, want to take my husband away for the weekend, don't want to go far. Has anyone any recommendations; somewhere they've been to that they loved in the above area? Nice food would be an advantage to.
PS in case JJ looks in, i can't afford le manoir!

le Mazot at Whatley doesnt seem to be that foamy, bednobs - they even have steak, french fries and tarragon sauce on as well as ducks legs......

no availability in the warminster one when i want it DT, but deffo one to consider for the future considering it's lack of foaminess

apologies for this bednobs but we obviously have a drunk arseh-le on - you asked a perfectly good question and one is obviously not allowed to share experience here. Must be a case of immense jealousy and quite frankly, its pathetic.

If you aren't positively interested, standian, or can't provide bedtops sensible advice in your contributions here, then go and focus on another thread and bug them (poor bastards that they will be if you carry on like this).

I was going to suggest looking at Lucknam Park but know nothing about that place - I see they have foam on their dining photographs though! bedtops......

How about Calcot Manor in Prince Charles' backyard at Tetbury? bedtops, and the menus look wholesome.....Haven't stayed there but it looks nice.....
