Here goes in a nutshell Salla :-
his friend accused of murder well its pretty obvious that the company he works for is mixed up in shady deals to do with oil in the third world, the dead girl has form for blackmail and it looks like she was selling the contents of his computer whilst he went to get her a takeaway, maid says she thinks computer there when she went in the room but the prosecutor is rubbishing her.
Our barrister hero is in deep Sugar because the obnoxious policeman discovers he has a hybrid car and has removed mud from between the tyre treads to try and match it with the mud outside the dead animal protestors home [ our hero did kill him you get flashbacks] lab results inconclusive.Barristers wife goes to the borstal boy she has in her prison group's mum, horrible woman only interested in any money she can make from his story which may get published, obnoxious policeman goes to prison and threatens the boy unless he tells him where the gun came from that he used , uses voilence - policemans sidekick stops him and then complains about him but they wont listen, young boy kills himself in cell that night.Barrister spends the night in London at his daughters flat when they get back from dinner flat broken into and contents of his breif case stolen.thats about all I can remember as I also watched the Shadow Line last night, maybe someone else can fill you in on bits I have missed.

The gun came from a guy living downstairs from the borstal boys mum and we know it' th same gun the barrister used. Police tracked down the guy he used to collect the gun for him, the guy did not see him clearly, but the sidekick pointed out to his boss when he noticed that the guy has links to the barristers office in his past.

Chelle is not the same gun, it was cleaned by the same bloke so was sold by the same bloke.

I don't think the barrister killed him its been blatent. However anyone who saw my post earlier in the week may realse my summation may not be correct :-)

I hope someone shoots the copper, most obnoxious charachter I have seen for some time.

Wow. That was a bit of a shocker at the end. Dave, I'll have to go back and read your posting on my question. Also jth's reading of the plot so far. I'm glad it ended how it did.
