This is Green Tripe being prepared by yours truly, its rather smelly and a bit grim but the dogs love it and worth every minute it takes to prepare and they eat it raw naturally.

We do wash out the grass if there is too much left inside the stomach, but the dogs just love it as it is, we also had a few bits of cows trachea thrown in, lovely for the dogs to chew on, better than any hide chew!!

Its OK kibble feeders, im not having a go, we been there done that lol :-)

Looobylooo, its a lovely sound to wake up to every morning, sometimes it is so loud it does wake us up :-)

We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area and we never take it for granted.
I used to collect whole tripes for a friend with kennels, and we spent hours stripping them and cutting them up, then mincing it. Cold, hard, smelly work but the dogs loved it. If I feed tripe these days its from Anglian Meats already in bite sized pieces.
(Thats of course alongside their kibble lol).
Question Author
We have bought from Anglian meats in the past but delivery was unreliable and they are a bit pricey. This Tripe works out at 17p a pound, not bad :0)
