Peas, beans or something else?

I was munching my way through some delicious sprouted peas/beans from the local supermarket and decided to throw a few into a tub just to see what would become of them. To my amazement I have the most delicate looking plant that looks like a climber and has the smallest of flowers on I've ever seen. My question is what the heck is it - apart from the obvious? What type of pea/bean could it be. It really is so delicate looking and the flowers are only about 2mm big fully grown. I want to know will it produce a bean or pea if it is so fragile but healthy looking?

Its difficult to tell. What colour are the flowers?
This is the flower that I'd expect to see if they were Mung Beans (from which we get bean sprouts)

This is the plant. A lot smaller than it appears on the photographs.

Its not a pea, or a peanut, nor a chick pea or a mung bean.

I think it might be a lentil plant.

Wow - thank you so much Maidup. There is no way I would have known that in a million years. I'm quite excited really as I've grown lentil plant before. Looks like I may have to get a few more if I'm going to use the produce!! Thanks again x
Such a pretty delicate plant, it just makes me realise how many must be grown to fill those bags of lentils we buy in the supermarket!
