A man goes to the doctor and the doctor tells him that he is sorry but he only has a short time to live.

The man is obviously disturbed and asked "How long have I got."

The Doctor replies, "Ten"

Now increasingly distraught, the man asks, "What, ten days, ten weeks, ten months???"

The Doc continues, "Nine ... eight .. seven..."
