removal of 'pyrex' label printed on glass...??

i have a glass science beaker type thing, that has 'pyrex' written on it...is there any way i can remove this?
i have scraped it a bit, but its hardly moving
any ideas?

Here is what I did: I soaked the glassware in water for like two weeks, then it just rubbed right off. It was hard water, with iron and calcium dissolved in it. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. The pyrex was standard laboratory flasks with white labeling. But the key here is time. Give it plenty, and you can indeed get these markings off.
Thinking about it, some of the glassware had silicone grease on it, so that may have played a part in removing the markings. I don't think so though, because there wasn't very much.
