how do you download music off itunes? how do you pay for the songs? might sound like a dum question! x

When you first open itunes and choose the music store in the left hand column, the store should open up.

At the top right of the screen it should say in on a little button, click there and choose to set up an account. You will have to give your address and payment details - I use Switch. And you can set an allowance so you don't buy anything daft in the middle of the night when you've had one too many.

Once you account is set up, you can browse through the store and pick items, by clicking on either Buy album or buy track. These will be added to your shopping basket, shown by a small green trolley on the left hand of the screen. When you click, in the main box right at the top, it will tell you that so and so has been added to your shopping basket.

Once you have made all your selections, go to the shopping basket and click, to open your basket, you will see the items you've chosen. Then click on Buy Now or Buy all on the right hand side. You will be promted for your account password. Enter this and your songs will immediately begin to download....

They will now appear under purchased music and in the main library. They will appear light grey until the song is downloaded and then turn black. It's so easy.

Go on, have fun and don't forget about that allowance. It's all too easy to get carried away.
