which laptop to buy?

I am in need of a new laptop as the screen on my toshiba is screwed. I am looking to spend up to £350 pounds and it is for browsing and photos mainly although the quicker the better. Any suggestions would be greatfully recieved.

You can do a lot worse than a Dell multi-core from Tesco Direct.

Check out websites of the major retailers, as the price can vary so much.
same laptop can be hundreds of pounds different. I did check out loads before buying the Dell Inspiron, and happy so far.......

My Dad bought a 1545 Dell from Tesco Direct. Excellent laptop and no troubles. Has Card reader and good webcam built in .. sound a bit crappy .. that's all.
