Do it.
I like it.
Download it, try it for a while, if you don't like it, ignore it or remove it.
You can play Angry Birds on it. :)

I liked it at first but after a while it seemed to run slower.............the techy people seem to rate it. If you don't like it there's no need to keep it.
Discussion about browsers occurs frequently here. The only thing that nearly everyone agrees on is that almost anything is better than the dreaded Internet Explorer!

Chrome is a good browser, with fast loading and an increasing number of add-ons available for it. If your choice is simply between IE or Chrome, then Chrome wins easily.

However Firefox remains the world's leading browser of choice. (i.e. if you disregard people who use IE simply because they don't know about the alternatives, Firefox has more users than any other browser). The reasons are simple:
1. It's secure ;
2. It's fast. (Chrome used to be quite a bit faster than Firefox but Firefox has caught up with it, in my opinion) ;
3. It's got by far the greatest range of 'add-ons' available with any browser.

Why not download BOTH Chrome & Firefox, to see which you like best?
Depends on what your using now. It's a lot faster than IE but only a bit faster than Firefox. Firefox has a multitude of plug-ins to help out but Chrome only has a few.

Download it, install it and try it out. If you do not like it uninstall it.
personally I've tried Chrome but gone back to Firefox.
Son swears blind by google chrome, I swear blind by firefox.

GC is blooming good tho
don't like Chrome!..........Gone back to IE,...........know what I'm doing with that!..................
Hate Firefox - Chrome took a while to get used to but I like it now.
Go for it - It doesn't take up much space, I find it much faster, and it's the only one still being actively developed.

I also use Firefox, and keep IE8 as my printer seems to like it...
" . . . it's the only one still being actively developed", Venator???

Mozilla has just released Firefox 5 (with support for 64-bit Windows 7). Improvements to the web applications framework are expected in Firefox 6 (which will be released fairly soon) and the Mozilla Foundation is currently working on Firefox 7. That sounds like 'active development' to me!

Thank you all. Your advice is much appreciated. I think I will try it and see how I get on. I currently have Firefox and IE and at the moment prefer IE, probably only because I haven't used Firefox that much. I have been having problems with IE lately though, with it shutting down suddenly several times during the day. Hence I though I'd try out some others.
jeepers, firefox 5?

I keep getting asked to upgrade to FF4 but am happy with what I got (I know before the language police descend)
