i think it was mentioned here as i recall a week or so ago, freakish is right, don't dislike the guy, but he's 68, why does he need to look like a waxworks.

forgot to add , he was dressed like a teenager in leather and when he walked looked like the poor man had got arthritis, it was sad really because he can still sing well.

Just watched it on catch up tv on demand. (No adverts). He certainly looks very odd, especially around the eyes and mouth. He has a very large nose and weak chin. I have seen worse, Michael Jackson springs to mind. I reckon he would have been better with a nose job - it would have helped to balance his face a bit. But who am I to criticise, I am not exactly beautiful. Love his voice but preferred Copacabana to his more recent song.

Glad it wasn't just me then. I haven't seen him for a while, I thought he looked like an alien. His eyes looked odd and his face was wax-like as em said. It's ridiculous as he doesn't need to do that as his voice is still excellent and he wouldn't lose fans by aging naturally.

I agree, but he's got plenty of fans in the 55-70 age group who adore his looks. He also struggled to walk- I don't know whether it was his leather trousers or his shoes.

Ha, ha. I am in that age group. I always found him weird looking and never could see the attraction. Good voice, nice personality but..................................

In the audience you would not be able to see the details, I reckon, but with tv you get a close-up of everything - you can see and criticise every detail. I think the women in the audience would have been quite happy with him.

that photo is awful, he looks like someone's pumped air into him, until he was about to burst, his fans would love him no matter what, he's nearly 70, why would anyone want to look like that, another year he will have to have more, why bother.
