What your head?
I pack customers shopping, soft squashable things first in their bags.

It's the little things in life.....
My other half handed in his notice to get rid of his stress at work. He starts a new (less stressful) job at the beginning of next month.

hahaha thats a gooden. im in an office though... hmmm
oh and funnygirl i meant till the keyboard breaks
Easy........it usually involved mouthy women and schoolteachers in particular............just told my secretary to put them at the bottom of the list for operation and mark them "not urgent"

That gave me immense pleasure.

whats your job sqad?
Sqad!!! I sincerely hope you are joking. (I feel the same about schoolteachers, but keep that quiet!! - some are OK)
I just used to cut the crappy customers phones off........er by mistake obviously.

...obvisously... ;)
I absoutely refuse to allow my job to stress me - I am not paid enough for that!

It may sound like a flippant comment, but after a total breakdown twenty years ago, including a spell in a psychiatric hospital, I have seriously strong mental strength and i am simply not prone to the stresses that people feel on a daily basis.

I am lucky, but believe me, my strategies have been hard won, and nearly cost me my sanity and my life, so I am pleased to have emerged with an attitude that simply does not countenance any degree of negativity from my work environment.

I find a walk in the fresh air and an image of my youngest grandchild smiling at me makes me feel better.
Lofty....NOT joking.

People must learn who they can p1ss off and who they can´t............a tough life.
OMG

Makes note to be sickly sweet to any consultants I might have to see in the future!!
Question Author
indeed lofty! i dont think i will ever anger them again!
Lofty....you are a fast learner....;-)
Last time I saw an orthopaedic consultant and he looked at a fresh set of knee xrays.

Him: Well I'm not prepared to operate again and you don't exactly help yourself. You walk flat footed and you're overweight.
Me: I guess a date's out of the question then......

Nurse nearly faints..........
I did briefly consider bursting in to tears today but then figured I'd just get on with it... Crying would use up valuable time...
craft...LOL
Plan my next trip to Wales.... or just get the thing thats giving me grief out of the way asap...of course when nursing if it was a consultant causing me stress I just used flirt with them ... registrars or lower were threatened with an unfortunate end.....
