I have just transferred all my music from my old Acer hard disc to my new HP. When I try to play it Microsoft blocks it and tells me I have to buy a license. I've already bought the original cds and thought it a good idea to save the collection onto the hard disc. Before the Acer died I never had any problem. Is this new for windows 7? Is there any way I can get round not paying again?
This is the message I get:
Windows Media Player cannot play, burn, or sync the file because the media usage rights are missing. If you obtained the file from an online store, sign in to the store, and then try again.
