i read that book years and years ago mrs m, it was very good if i rememer rightly..

I panic at spiders and wasps but I have bought a little gadget to catch them and put them outside. Alternatively there is always the flyspray which seems to kill all small creepy-crawlies not only flies..

shame but if you hate um you hate um I suppose - my house is full of 'invited guests' - lots of spiders etc - only thing I won't tolerate is flies so Cyril (he's the very large one in the corner of the kitchen) and I run a campaign against the blighters.

I hate cats - how come if I killed one marauding after songbirds in my garden I would be prosecuted (not to mention vilified) but you can kill moths without retribution ?
