I would appreciate your comments on the following

Should be fine for that. decent enough CPU, OK size hard drive, enough RAM. the graphics card won't enable it to play higher end games, but if that's not what you want to do then that's not a problem.

Not too bad at all for the price

I had an Acer laptop which was written off when my house was struck by lightening. Sorry now that I replaced it with Dell.

The one you have in mind seems to be a bargain. I say go for it because Acer is a good make.
