Uploading music to IPod on a new computer

Hi All,
I originally uploaded all my music from an old computer onto my Ipod but now want to add more music from a new computer.
It is saying my IPOD is registered to another computer and giving me the option to delete all tracks.
Is it possible to add further music but from a different computer?

Hope you get an answer- I know my son had this problem but he's away now and I can't remember how he resolved it

According to techy son .Apparently you have to de-authorise your account on your old computer and re-authorise it on your new one.

I had same problem some time back...and no,unless you back up all your music then you have lost them all...Sorry.
