Don't mind heavy going, one of my favourite books is 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind, a triumph.

'Roots' I've never read the book but watched the TV series, excellent stuff, unmissable. I wish they'd put it on again. Gripping stuff.

I`ve got the box set of Roots. That was such a poignant series and very emotional. I heard in later years though, that Alex Haley wasn`t entirely truthful in his facts and a lot of it was supposition.

You've stirred me up again M R about Roots. Unfortunately I can't read any more, well normal print, I'd have to order a couple of tomes of Large Print from the library. Can't be a$$ed with that but I might just get the DVD's. thanks for the tip.
