where's paddy's hair gone

i am mystified as to whats happened to paddy's hair in Emmerdale,
he had it shorn off, but its not grown back, is he ill, are we to know, please someone tell me, before i write to the programme and ask him to grow it back.

Apparently he's been suffering with alopecia for quite some while and decided to stop trying to hide the fact.

if he had surely he would have no hair, not even a smidgeon, like gail porter.

Alopecia can be patchy...

He has bald patches and got tired of trying to style his hair to cover wherever it was that they had appeared...........he never completely lost all his hair.

That's a shame, thought it might be some sort of storyline, you know, rhona and baby leo causing him to have problems, stress, so loses hair, well sorry paddy, back to the drawing board.

oddly, Joe Guilgan who played Eli Dingle has the same condition, he ws stood in my kitchen one day telling me about the stress of filming and the long days,

My son had alopecia and his hair fell out in clumps. It was caused by stress and when everything had calmed down it grew back again. Bald is sometimes quite attractive.

Eli has the best head of head i have seen, though a tad scruffy. I miss him, he was a breath of fresh air. Wasn't he in This is England, sure i saw him with braces and doc martens.

Yes he was, if you were watching closely in the last few months he was in emmerdale, he had facepaint on his scalp to cover the patches

Paddy is not the smartest nor the most attractive chappy on emmerdale, but at least i now know why he wore the flat cap. I can understand about the stress, makes you do loopy things, and losing your hair like that must be real problem.

dotty, never look that close. You hear that the shooting schedules are quite tough, look at Bev Callard, now out of corrie, mind half of them end up in other soaps, like michelle collins, ugh..

for heavens sake it not rocket sincere he was going bald ! hes shaved his head like thousands of other guy in your own neighbourhoods and will keep shaving it,it todays look for a lot of guys

i remember seeing this someplace, and thought it funny
phrase used by people too stupid to know that rocketry is an engineering discipline and not a science at all.
Manager: "Can't you do anything right? It's not rocket science!"
Worker: "Actually, rocketry is an engineering discipline."
Manager: "You're fired."
