I mean, how many mistakes are going to be made - will everyone now rush out to buy impliments to clobber the burglar with.

Brenden, no, it might persuade them to attack first, whereas before they might just have burgled you and left. No idea really, but this sorry situation, what is right, reasonable force, or other is beyond a joke.
I stood up to little yobs trying to hurt a young lad, who was on his own, very brave of the mob, as usual, and did scare the daylights out of a would be thief who tried to nick my stuff, and would do it again.
