paying our mp's a high wage attracts the wrong sort of person for the job ?

i did look but its doesn't change the fact that by and large they are not overpaid. I know expenses added in etc, and the hoohah over that, but thats fiddling and no one should do it. The type you want to attract would not do it, the type we get, its maybe the only job they will ever do. Milliband brothers are a good example, political family, go to uni, then political dogsbody, up the greasy pole, then leader of the party, without so much as a by your leave. How do they know what it is to survive on very little, work in a factory, shop, it doesn't give them a balanced view at all.
