Can a back to the wall toilet be fitted in any house? I think I read once that the waste could cause problems or did I read it wrong?
I will be paying a Plumber to do this but did'nt want to buy one to be told it can't be fitted.
TIA

Tony the waste is already there. I'm looking at them thats fitted in a cupboard thing where you just see the handle. I want a vanity unit sink and a set of small draws with one long bench on top like a fitted kitchen. sorry I dont know how to put a pic on of what I want ha ha..
I remember docspock did one and he said something like "As you plumbers will know that with a btw loo you only get one chance" (sorry doc if i got that wrong)
what's a btw loo?
just click on website you want to attach - it will do it all it's self

Tony, btw loo = back to the wall toilet, the cistern and all pipes are hidden in a cupboard with just the handle on show. sorry tony i'm thick when it comes to computers and bathrooms lol
so answer to your message is yes - enjoy
Generally, yes. The thing to remember about back-to-walls is, you don't actually fit it against the wall of the room (except in more complicated cases where the soil connection and the cistern are in the "next room".) You have to bring another "wall" forward, to house the concealed cistern. Then fit the WC pan up against that.
Generally the only only true BTW loos are installed in public facilities where the water flush system is installed behind the vertical rear wall to prevent yobbos pulling things apart.
