camping and caravanning in Folkestone

We have never camped on this site, right by the sea!
Can anyone tell me about the tele reception, shower block etc. Food shopping nearby? many thanks folks

I live near Folkstone and love it!
Reception should be fine but no idea about the shower block though and can't find a review that says anything about it
Bit of a trek into Folkstone town and not much in the way of 'shopping'
Dover is nearby although the precinct has seen better days - some lovely chippies though =)

I haven't camped there either but I do know where it is. Its beautiful. Just east of the town on on the beach. Its a little remote in terms of shops, best take what you need with you for the first night at least. Or look out for a supermarket as you enter the town.

They have an arts festival in Folkestone every three years and it falls this year. I'll be going in a couple of weeks time - worth a look.

There's also a Racecourse if you fancy a flutter.

hope you dont think i'm lazy lol. This camp site looks really nice if the weather is kind to us, so thats ok, and we dont mind long walks at all.
having good tele reception is one of the main things we always wonder about, as I we dont always venture out too much in the evenings, as we walk our socks off during the day, haha. thanks for your welcome reply x pusskins
