I got arrested for abh in January and got bailed which i answered then i got re-bailed, which i answered and the oficer wasnt there so a wrote my number on some paper and the station clerk said he would get the officer to ring me in next couple of days, that was back in March. I did not get a re-bail or anything and have not heard from the officer. i go on holiday in next few weeks. I will be allowed to go on holiday??

And we can tell you're really sorry from your name????
they cant stop you going on holiday in the UK but you must be able to get back if they decide to hear your case because if you dont they will issue a warrant for your arrest.Go to the police station and ask to see the station clerk or go and ask at the court. You will be much better knowing how you stand than spoiling your holiday, presume you are not thin king of going abroad ?
Hi

Technically, you are no longer on bail but as already mentioned ring the station, ask to speak to the officer dealing with the case or ask to speak to 'custody' and confirm what is happening. It may be that the case has been discontinued, if not, I am sure you will be able to negoitate a new bail date outside of your holiday timeframe.

thanks guys, yes i am going abraod, Spain infact, At the end of the day i have done nothing wrong, i answered bail both times and they said they will contact me which they havent. I was not issued a re-bail or nothing so surely i can go on holiday
As you answered the second bail and were not re-bailed you are no longer on bail. As you have not received a summons I would let sleeping dogs lie and enjoy your holiday, whether at home or abroad. It's up to them to make the next move, not you.
Make sure you behave yourself in Spain because if you get into trouble there, you might not be as lucky as you have been in the UK, just a thought!
