BEEKO fridges

We have a small Beeko fridge, half the size of a fridge freezer, in our kitchen, it doesnt have a freezer compartment at all, its about 6 years old, is it affected by these fire warnings pls ?
This will be the end of Beeko surely no one will trust that name now ? for some unknown reason Mr S thought it was LG fridges.

used to be Bauknecht, didn't they? We had one of those years ago, but it never blew up.

If you switch on to BBC Breakfast they've just been on about it and they posted a web site dealing with this, they normally repeat two-three times so if you look in you'll probably pick it up

Mr S was telling me- he has internet radio and was listening to an Australian radio station and they definately said LG fridges to be recalled.

the electrical current goes the other way round in Australian fridges, no wonder it causes problems...
